Exhibitors at the iba set the trends when it comes to all things bakery, confectionery and matters related to these industries. That's why exhibitors and visitors from all over the world congregate here every three years.
Scottish Bakers at IBA
Scottish Bakers partnered with Scottish Development International (SDI) to invite 15 bakery companies from Scotland to attend the IBA Bakery Fair in Munich in Germany on 16-21 September 2012. Each of the 15 companies attending will receive from SDI funding of £260.00 per company towards travel and accommodation costs. SDI are also funding transport for a bakery visit and meeting rooms at the event. IREKS have kindly provided the entry tickets to the exhibition.

Brief description:
At iba you can see the entire range of products used by bakers, confectioners, caterers and café owners. This international platform comprehensively showcases market trends and demonstrates the challenges of tomorrow’s ideas to its visitors. Everyone can see, smell and taste the competition at this extraordinary event and will go home feeling inspired by many new ideas. Visitors can see live demonstrations of production lines as well as equipment for traditional bakers in action throughout the show.
Visitor target group:
Trade visitors and decision-makers from the bakery and confectionery trade, from the bread, cake and pastry sector, from restaurants and catering companies.
OPENING TIMES: Sunday – Thursday: 9.30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday: 9.30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
