Scottish Bakers Proud to Support Arran Challenge Fundraiser
Scottish Bakers is proud to be supporting Stewart Irwin and his colleagues as they take part in the Arran Challenge at the end of this week. They are attempting to raise £10,000 towards the cost of building a new atrium at the Princes and Princess of Wales Hospice in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. The Atrium will be the heart of the new build. Arriving for the first time to any new place can be daunting and the emotions around the first visit to a Hospice for patients and their loved ones are considerable.
To raise the money for this great cause they are taking part in the Arran Challenge on Friday 14th August. This involves cycling around the coastline of Arrang and climbing the island's highest mountain Goat Fell in one day. They have been training hard and are all looking forward to completing the challenge while making a difference for the Hospice.
