Allergen regulations are changing! Scottish Bakers is running a short workshop at Bakers House to refresh members’ awareness of the current legislation and provide an update of the new proposals and their timescales for introduction. Given the both recent high-profile cases widely reported in the news in respect of undeclared Allergens (which resulted in a tragic death) and the UK and Scottish Governments’ impending changes in Allergen declaration this workshop is a must-attend event .

Allergens Regulations are Changing – Workshop 

Allergen regulations are changing! Scottish Bakers is running a short workshop at Bakers House to both refresh members’ awareness of the current legislation and provide an update of the new proposals and their timescales for introduction.

Given both the recent high-profile cases widely reported in the news in respect of undeclared Allergens (which resulted in a tragic death) and the UK and Scottish Governments’ impending changes in Allergen declaration this workshop is a must-attend event for our members.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

  1. Current Legislation (calibration on members compliance)
  2. Proposed Legislation (including timescales as well as proposals. We will discuss individual issues versus the proposed legislation and answer all questions where we can)
  3. Final Summary

Handouts covering the proposed legislation along with timescales will provided to all attendees.

A nominal charge of £15 plus VAT per person is requested to cover costs.
