The product judging will take place on Wednesday 20th November 2019 in Dunfermline with around 50 judges being led by Ian Nelson.
Information for Entrants:
To ensure fairness the judges will not know the name of the businesses who have entered their products; therefore it is essential that each of the following steps are fully completed:
1. Send 3 of each of the products (with the exception of the apple pie category where you need only supply 2) listed above to Carnegie Conference Centre, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, Fife, KY11 8DY to arrive between 9.00am and 11.30am on 20th November 2019. Please note we are not providing collection points.
2. Please ensure that your products are securely wrapped using a plain box without your company logo or branding.
3. You will be sent 4 labels with a code for each of the products entered. Attach one label to the outside of the box, attach another label to the product wrapping inside the box and lastly place the other two inside the box (these two will be used during judging). We cannot guarantee that any products received without labels will be judged.
4. Special Instructions: for vegetarian speciality category please mark on the label if the products are to be served hot or cold.
Information for judges:
The judging day will start from 11.00am with a welcome tea/coffee. Ian will lead a briefing session which will start at 11.15am with the judging starting from 11.30am. The judging is expected to finish between 3.00pm & 4.00pm and we need all judges to be able to stay to the end. Further information will be issued directly to confirmed judges.
