Coronavirus: Scottish Bakers Action
Share |

The Bakers House team, in line with government guidance, is now homeworking only. We have full connectivity with each other and are continuing to serve our members to the best of our abilities during the current crisis.

The main switchboard number has been redirected to our CEO, Alasdair Smith's, mobile and so we can still be contacted anytime on the usual number.

We can also be contacted by e-mail:

National Food and Drink Training, the training arm of Scottish Bakers, suspendED all apprenticeship training provision across the UK from Friday 3rd April.

It is important that we all do what we can to help minimise the spread of the Coronavirus and we appreciate that training is not a current priority for the many businesses in which we deliver apprenticeships around the UK.

While we have adapted quickly and are able to conduct a range of training-related activities through various online platforms, we believe it is best to leave our learners doing what they do best at this difficult time – helping to keep great freshly baked bread, savoury snacks and sweet treats on shops’ shelves and customers’ tables.

This suspension of services is a temporary measure and the team will be back delivering training once we resume some sort of normality.

For any training enquiries during this suspension of service please contact Scott Anderson.

Until further notice, deliveries and collections, except for regular mail, are not possible at Bakers House.
